GRID demo - PS3 - June 3rd Release Date

Grid has to be the best driving game I've played since the Gran Turismo series. The damage that the car take is by far the best I have seen. By damaging the tires will affects the way you drive, so say you rammed a car in the left side, damaging the driver side front tire, your car will pull the to left making it harder for you to control the car.

In this demo you can choose from 3 races. The first is the Touring Cars - Euro Touring Cars series in Jarama Spain driving the BMW 320SI, the second is the Drift GP - Advan Drift International in Yokohama Japan driving the Nissan Silva, and the third is the Pro Muscle - eBay Motors Muscle Cup in San Francisco Cali. driving the Ford Mustang GT-R Concept.

The damage in this game is none that I've seen for a long time, from losing the front and rear fenders of your car, to head lights and tail lights. You can also damage the steering column and hear it grinding when you turn the corners making it that much more difficult for you. One other thing that is cool about this game is if you damage your car to bad, you can do a thing called a "flashback", which let's you rewind time before you had your crash.

I give the game 2 thumbs up

Metal Gear Online - PS3 - June 12th release date

So I just recently finished out the beta for Metal Gear Online (or MGO as some people call it) this past Sunday and I'm heartbroken...lol...It is an awesome online game by far that I've played since SOCOM for PS2. The controls of this game are easy to understand and you'll never have to look back and say to yourself "now what what did this button do again?", I know I didn't have too.

Metal Gear Online supports the Clan system, but you'll have to be level 2 with 5+ hrs. of gameplay. The way the Clan system works is you give your clan a name, choose from a set of logos or make your own, then set up clan try outs in the lobby, tell people the rules of joining your clan and then you play. The leveling system on the other hand is something I never figured out, because I kept going back and forth between levels 3 and 4, so if you know how it works fill me in on the details because I couldn't figure it out myself.

There's not really much more to say because this was just an online beta. It didn't give off anything from the story so this one ends with an A+ from me

HAZE Demo - PS3 - May 22nd release date

You find yourself in a jungle with 3 comrades heading to a crash site father up in the the path. As you proceed to the site you encounter groups of enemies trying to stop you from getting there. This happens a few more times in the game leading to the crash site where you have to, yet again, clear more enemies to have the helicopter come down and pick you up.

As all this is happening, your team members tell you that by injecting a power up called "Necter", you'll power yourself up and see where the enemies are by heat signatures, but injecting it for to long with make you go crazy with power that you just start looking towards your comrades and start shooting until the "Necter" wears off. You can fight the urge to shoot them by looking away, but until it wears off you should stay away from them.

This demo of HAZE didn't really tell me much, just that "Necter" makes you go crazy if injected for to long a time and that there's not much of a story, except that your on a rescue mission for a plane that crashed with fellow team members on it.

I give it a B
