MGS 4 - PS3 - Out Now

The long awaited game has arrived, Metal Gear Solid 4. In this game you play as Old Snake, this is the snake from MGS2...not 3. And you find yourself in the back of a truck heading towards this town and all you can hear is gunshots in the background. I would say more but I don't wanna give away anything for people that haven't beat it and/or played it yet.

The controls for this game have changed from the other MGS games only because you have more control with aiming your gun and your not shotting around your enemy hoping you hit him. This game is a third person to first person set-up (first person being aiming down the sights or through the scope of your gun) .

MGS4 is one of the best MGS games I've played, the only down fall is there isn't much running around because there's over 8hrs of just cut scenes alone and I beat it in 17hrs46min, (only because I look around) but the story is an edge of your seat I wanna know more story, because I was like "WOW!!".

MGO is back and with more maps and 1 more game mode to play. They also increased the lvl and time in which to make a clan, now it's lvl 3 with 20hrs+ of gameplay so I've got a long time to go before I can make a clan. The new mode they put in is where you have to rescue a GA-KO (looks like a little duck) and they also put in where when you die you get to be a ghost and you can play pranks on your enemies.

MGS4 still get's 2 thumbs way way up.

GRID - PS3 - Out Now Update

I recently bought GRID and there's more to it then what I posted. You first start out driving for other teams in races to earn $80,000 in cash, after that you then start your own team and earn sponsors, which gives more cash by doing special requirements like finishing a race or getting 5th, 3rd or 1st. You also earn rep. to get different licenses to enter other races.

The online however people think it's funny to smash you up at the beginning of every race you make or enter so it's a mad dash to get ahead of that but if you start at the back of the pack you might as well quit because people don't play fair when it comes to racing.

They also added more race choices too, from demo derby, to the American Le Mans series where you can do a 24hr race, but you'd have to be crazy to do that, also drift races like the one in Tokyo Drift at the end of the movie, and then you've got the races that i mentioned before in the other post.

The Bourne Conspiracy - PS3 - Out Now

If you've even seen the movie The Bourne Identity, this game is that movie, but with a things you don't see. In the movie you see Jason Bourne floating in the water and then a few guys spotting him and bring him on board. Well in this game you see that, but you have a flash back of how he got there in the first place.

This happens throughout the game, what's cool is after I beat the game I watched the movie to see what was different about them and there's a lot of things the movie doesn't show that the game does...it's kinda cool.

This game falls under the beat'em up shooter genre and trust me, there's alot of fighting in this game. At first the fighting is hard to get used to, but as you progress through the game the fights get harder to win because i keep fighting one guy like 10 times before I finally put him down for good, same as the ending fight too...that was a pain.

Other than that, this game is a rent than a buy only because it's not that long of game, plus no online so it's one u can beat in a day, it took me 2 days to finish only because the fights where harder as I went along, but I finished it in 10hrs.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars - PS3 - Out Now

This game takes place in the future where space travel is like driving a car from California to Maine in no time (but that doesn't happen now) but instead cars...think more like HUGE space crafts.

The single player campaign is...well actually there isn't one, no story at all either. You just choose a country, North or South America, Africa, or Europe and u play the list of maps for each one, some having 3 others 2 and then 5, depends on what you choose.

The online part of the game is what the single player is, except with actual people and not stupid AI that won't back you up in a fire fight. The other about playing online is LAG...but it's not so bad where your taking a step every 2 or 3 seconds, it's because most people are using wireless router or a wired router and they're have things downloading on their computer so it'll affect everyone if they're the host.

Other than that you can still kill or get killed, but some is kinda bs because your like "WTF was that" because I've said that a few times playing this.

Overall this game is fun, if you like Warhawk (but without the planes and more vehicles) then you'll like Quake Wars, but I'd rent it before buying it, because that's what I did.

Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword - DS - Out Now

Unlike other Ninja Gaidens that are out on other consoles, this one is more on the awesome side. The demo I played of this game was a short demo but with a lot of enemies to kill, so it made it kinda long.

There's only 2 places to you go to in this demo, that's the starting area and then a big room where you get ambushed by hordes of enemies. As your battling your leaning new moves and attacks along with a few combos to get you started.

What makes this game awesome is that instead of using the a, b, x, and y buttons, you use the stylus to attack and pull off cool combos. It's different from other DS games because you hold the DS on it's side for a more comfortable feel, my hand didn't cramp up like it does when I play other DS games.

What I played of this demo I'd give the game an A.
